Sushi Kyo Brand Identity
Punchy – Playful – Urban
The goal of this brand was to create a modern, city-driven sushi concept that clearly stands apart from typical sushi aesthetics. Instead of the expected minimal and elegant Japanese style, I leaned into bold colours, strong typography, and playful graphic elements that are designed to catch attention instantly – especially on crowded streets and food-ordering apps.
The octopus character adds a sense of personality and approachability, making the brand memorable and easy to recognise, while the graphic patterns help build a consistent visual system across packaging, signage, and merchandise. Every element is there for a reason: to stop the scroll, stand out among competitors, and create a sushi brand that feels current, confident, and hard to ignore.
